League Cup Final disappointment for Hornets teams

posted 21 May 2017, 12:51 by Sean Perkins   [ updated 26 May 2017, 15:38 ]

The Under 13 Hornets and Under 17 Hornets travelled to The Hive on Saturday for their Capital Girls League Cup Finals against Hendon and Kent Football United respectively.  Unfortunately, the Under 13 Hornets were edged out in a thrilling contest which went to extra time and the Under 17s also finished runners up in a high scoring game.  Commiserations to both teams who have had excellent seasons in all competitions and should be justifiably proud of their achievements.

Watford Ladies U13 Hornets    1-3    Hendon FC U13 Girls  (AET)
