After a long week of wind, rain and international matches, our focus turns back to the HGFPL this weekend.

Tomorrow, in the U11’s pink and purple divisions the Hornets and Harts are both travelling north tomorrow. The Harts of the back of last weeks game are excited about further gaining match experience in Hertford as Bury Rangers will prove to be a good test for them. The free scoring Hornets will be looking to continue their fantastic form in Stevenage as they visit Bedwell Rangers.

Watfords U12’s are at home this week with Harpenden Colts coming to town, the reverse of this fixture ended in defeat for the Golden Girls who will no doubt be looking to get some revenge.

We have 1 Home and 1 away match in the Under 13’s section, with the Hornets travelling to Denham United in the League Shield and the Harts, who won Division 2 last season, at Sun Postal playing hosts to local rivals, Garston Ladies.

Our 3 teams in the U15 section all play this weekend. The 100%’er Hornets travel to Hitchin Belles who tail the Hornets in the league table by 9 points. The Hornets have won all 5 of their league matches they have played this season so far and will be a tough test for 6th placed Hitchin.

In Division 2, the Wasps, are away to St Albans City North in the reverse fixture of their first game of the season. That game ended in an entertaining 4-4 draw which is the only game either side have not won this season. With both these high scoring teams going head to head, it is written to be one fantastic game!

The U15 Harts on the other hand haven’t had as much luck as their fellow u15 teams but this weekend they are sure to be looking forward to as they welcome Bishops Stortford to Sun Postal, who went down 3-0 to the Harts, earlier this year.

On Sunday, there is no football as the U17 and U19’s both have the weekend off from league action as neither play until next weekend.
