On Sunday, Watford's Under 17's had a hard start to the season as they went down 7-3 to a strong St. Joseph Youth team. You can read the full match report here.

It was better news for the Devels as they secured a 1-5 away win over Tottenham Hotspur Ladies. A brace of goals for Courtnay Ward-Chambers also secured her the Player of the Match accolade whilst singles from Zoe Cohen, Aimee Durn and Kayleigh Humphries secured the win. Watford dominated the first half with some good all round play and work rate to give them a 0-4 lead at half time. Tottenham made the match far tighter in the second half with both teams scoring a goal, but Watford's lead was unassailable.
