Another weekend, another County Cup final for one of our teams as the Youth Development Squad take on Stevenage Ladies in the Women’s Cup Final at the County Ground, Letchworth this Sunday.  It will be the third weekend in a row that a Watford Ladies Youth side has contested a County Cup final – a great achievement.  Hoping to make the Under 12 final in May are the Under 12 Hornets who face a tough semi-final against a free-scoring Stevenage side this Saturday.

The Under 16 County Cup winners, the Hornets, will be looking to move a step closer to their second piece of silverware of the season as they take on Reading in the semi-final of the Capital Girls’ League Cup.

Also hoping to make progress in a knockout competition are the Under 12 Harts who host Hoddesdon Owls in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League Shield semi-final.

If all that cup excitement wasn’t enough there are also plenty of vital league fixtures this weekend. In the Capital Girls’ League the Under 14 Hornets travel to Ruislip Rangers Clarets and in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League the Under 16 Wasps entertain Bury Rangers while the Under 16 Harts travel to Bedwell Rangers.  Our two youngest age groups also face the same clubs with the Under 11 Harts hosting Bedwell Rangers and the Under 9 Harts entertaining Bury Rangers.

Finally, there is one league fixture on Sunday as the Under 18 Wasps travel to Whetstone Wanderers.

All the very best of luck to the Watford Ladies Youth teams this weekend!
