As it’s the start of half term, many of the Watford Ladies Youth teams do not have a game scheduled but some are in action in the league again. U11 Hornets, U12’s, U13 Harts and U17’s all made the list of teams without a game this weekend but read on for the preview of those WLFC matches that are taking place.

Following their season openers last week U11 Harts are at home to St Margaretsbury but the Hornets do not play due to their home game against Knebworth Youth being postponed.

U13 Hornets are in action away to Tottenham in what is sure to be an exciting battle of 1st & 2nd place in HGFPL U13 Division 1. Tottenham, currently 5 points behind the Hornets but with a game in hand could close the gap on the league leaders. However our U13 hornets are in flying form with a 100% record so far in the league winning all 4 of their games.

There is a similar story in the Under 15 league as the U15 Hornets, currently occupying 2nd in Division 1, host the league leaders Tottenham when they come to Parmiters this Saturday. This time it’s the Hornets who have the 3 point defecit but with the game in hand and both teams boasting a 100% record in the league so far.

U15 Wasps, coming off the back of 3 straight wins, will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Division 2 when they host current 3rd placed Hormead Hares, whilst the U15 Harts will be looking to emulate their Wasps club-colleagues’ result from last week when they travel to Harpenden Colts this week.

Good Luck to all our Golden Girls this weekend!
