Liverpool were in good form on Sunday afternoon, picking up a convincing 3-0 victory against Watford.

The Reds got off to a great start in the game, when Maddie Hills latched onto a pass and finished well with a side-footed shot into the bottom corner within the opening five minutes.

Hills was involved in Liverpool's second goal just before half time too, when she put Ali Hastie (left) through on goal and she made no mistake by smashing the ball home from just inside the area.

At 2-0 down, Watford faced an uphill challenge to get back in the game and that was made even harder for them shortly into the second half when goalkeeper Hourihan was sent off after handling outside of her area.

That allowed the visitors a chance to keep possession for the remainder of the game and they sealed the points with two minutes to go when Hills lifted a pass into the area for Kelly Jones, who finished well from close range.

Speaking about the game, Liverpool manager Robbie Johnson told TheFA.com: "It was important for us to get a win, bearing in mind some of the results that there have been in the Premier League.

"We now play Watford at home next week and it'll be interesting how they will line up.

"We need to maximise our potential and repeat this performance next week."
