Expectations

• Coaches must respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport.

• Coaches must place the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations.

• Coaches must prioritize player development over match results. (Youth)

• Coaches must adhere to all guidelines laid down by the Rules of The Football Association.

• Coaches must maintain an appropriate & professional working relationship with each player.

• Coaches must not exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward.

• Coaches must follow league policies on minimum game time

• Coaches must ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.

• Coaches should demonstrate clear communication in according to club policy and direction.

• Coaches must always display respectful behaviour towards club members, opponents and officials.

• Coaches must always look professional in WLFC attire while representing the club and act in a professional manner.

• Report any issues directly to CWO or senior club officials

• Coaches must look after provided equipment and return in good condition and in full at the end of the season. Any unreturned items may result in financial compensation back to the club.

Any breach of any provision(s) of this Code of Conduct by a Coach shall constitute a breach of the Rules of the Football Association and shall be dealt with under the procedures as set out in the Rules of The Football Association.

Any misdemeanours and general misbehaviour will be dealt with immediately and reported to the Watford Ladies FC (Youth) Committee or the Club CWO.  Persistent breach of the code will result in dismissal from the Club.

Dismissals can be appealed by the coach with final decisions taken by the Club.
