Player Code of Conduct

eg. U12 Hornets

Expectations


• Players must always show positive attitude and good behaviour.

• I understand that my attendance at training is required to be considered for team selection on match days.

• Be punctual for both Training Sessions and Matches Day.

• Your coach must be informed if you cannot attend a training session or a match.

• Ensure you are dressed correctly in WLFC attire and have the correct equipment for both training and matches (FA law 4).

• Always show respect to everyone regardless of in person or online (Coaches, Parents, Referees, Teammates, Spectators)

• Be inclusive to all Players so no Player ever feels left out. 

• Players must Listen to coaches’ instructions regarding individual development.

• Any injuries must be reported immediately to your coach/ physio/ welfare rep, never hide any pain or discomfort.

• Report any concerns following escalation protocol.


I understand that if I do not follow the Code any/all of the following actions may be taken by my club, County FA or The FA: I may:  


• Be required to apologise to my team-mates, the other team, referee or coach 

• Receive a formal warning from the coach or the club committee  

• Be dropped or substituted  

• Be suspended from training  

• Persistent offenders will be asked to leave the club.
