Ellen, of Dutch ancestors, is one of the most experienced members of the squad and was this year named as club captain. Having starred for Arsenal, Birmingham and England in the past, Ellen had a spell on the sidelines with injury, and on her return, long term coach / manager / team mate / friend (?!) Sian convinced her she would get back to the top with Watford, she joined the club in 2006 and was inspirational in the teams rise to the top. Maggsy always has something to say, or make up, and is always likely to pull out a nutmeg to create or score a goal for her team. Having gained senior international caps for England in the past, Maggsy now has the perfect stage set for her return...
